In October of 2014, just shy of my 21st birthday, I started an adventure with my husband. The adventure: trucking across the United States. The goal: visit every quilt shop I can (at least one from every state) and bring home souvenirs. I wasn't able to make that goal in the 8 months we were out, but now I'm happily home and sewing more than ever :)

~Colorado
Today we got to another fabric store, like, 3 days after visiting Albuquerque! This one's called Fabric Bliss, and they had a great selection of modern fabric, which is another of my favorite's. Today was their first day open in their new location. They only moved a few shops down, but they got more space by moving.
New Mexico~
Woohoo! It's been less than a week, and I've been to TWO more shops!! First is New Mexico!
We went to The Quilt Works in Albuquerque, which was a pretty fantastic shop. Lots of brights and Batiks and Kaffe Fassett. I wish it was my home town shop, seeing as brights and Batiks are my absolute favorites!

Finally, another! Ohio!
Well, it has been a WHILE! It's really quite sad that it took me this long to get to another shop =/
I did get to Fabric Depot in Portland on my way home between South Dakota and now, but I go there all the time and I had a shopping list for that one, so it doesn't really count.
The shop I visited in Ohio was called The Little Shop of Stitches (which is a fantastic name, if I do say so myself. I'm a huge fan of musicals, especially Little Shop of Horrors, so I was pretty excited about this one).
