In October of 2014, just shy of my 21st birthday, I started an adventure with my husband. The adventure: trucking across the United States. The goal: visit every quilt shop I can (at least one from every state) and bring home souvenirs. I wasn't able to make that goal in the 8 months we were out, but now I'm happily home and sewing more than ever :)

Nebraska, Nebraska
On our way back down to Texas, we stopped in Valentine, NE, which was a really cute little
town with a really cute little fabric store. The shop we visited was
called Country Fabrics and Crafts. They had quite an array of
fabric types, including some denim fabric that I got to patch some of our
pants.
Howdy, Y'all!
Yep, I’m cheesy like that.
Sorry for such a long hiatus, I’m not very good at this
whole blogging thing. But I got to another shop! It was about a mile away from
where we parked, and it was in Texas so it was really hot (even in January) but
it was worth it. A cute little shop called B & B Quilting in Buda, but it had quite
a few bolts of fabric. I got to meet one of the owners, and she helped check me
out, which was pretty awesome.
