South Dakota: A World of Endless Wonders

We finally got to another state, and another fabric store! This one is in South Dakota, called Fabric City:

Nebraska, Nebraska

On our way back down to Texas, we stopped in Valentine, NE, which was a really cute little town with a really cute little fabric store. The shop we visited was called Country Fabrics and Crafts. They had quite an array of fabric types, including some denim fabric that I got to patch some of our pants.

Howdy, Y'all!

Yep, I’m cheesy like that.

Sorry for such a long hiatus, I’m not very good at this whole blogging thing. But I got to another shop! It was about a mile away from where we parked, and it was in Texas so it was really hot (even in January) but it was worth it. A cute little shop called B & B Quilting in Buda, but it had quite a few bolts of fabric. I got to meet one of the owners, and she helped check me out, which was pretty awesome.

Montana, woo!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season this year, no matter what you celebrate! We got back on the road on the 28th, and spent our new years in Casper, WY. Didn’t do anything special really, but I did try deep-fried Oreos a couple hours before the new year…pretty great last meal of 2014, if I do say so maself :)
Before we stopped for the night on the 31st, I was lucky enough to find a quilt store in Montana, just a couple blocks from our delivery. That was pretty cool, it usually doesn’t work out that well. That shop was Thimbelina’s, in Livingston, MT:

Delaware

I finally got to a quilt shop after Hawaii!

It's been almost a month, but I got to run away from the truck long enough to visit a shop in Delaware.

Hawaii!

11/29/2014 6:49 PM

We had a wonderful 8 days in Hawaii! I know this year hasn’t been all that cold yet, but it was still nice to take a break in the never ending sun and enjoy some sand =)
While there, we were lucky enough to visit 5 quilt shops, including a shop that actually sells traditional, hand-sewn Hawaiian quilts. I was good and didn’t buy too much fabric, but what I did buy was very fitting.

Back on the West Coast!

11/12/14 2:21 PM

So we made it back to the West Coast before I got to another shop, and that shop was in Washington (where I visit all the time, but I've never been to this one!). We had to go through that "arctic storm" in North Dakota and Montana, which was awesome 'cause I love snow. Of course, it was REALLY dangerous and often scary, but I like to look at the positive things in life :)
